Yay! Nana came for a 10 day fall visit to help us out with watching Sophia during her week-long fall break from school and to help Jimmy out while I travel to Berkeley, CA for a conference. Her visit wasn’t quite as delightful as we’d planned, because about 12 hrs after she arrived, Sophia developed a fever which turned out to be H1N1 influenza A! Sophia was sick for 4 days and she and Nana never left the house, except to visit the pediatrician’s to be diagnosed with the flu. Finally on Thursday night Sophia’s fever broke and the next day she felt good enough for me and Nana and Sophia to take a trip to the Collierville town square for lunch and shopping. It was a much-needed field trip out of the house!
